More About Stephanie Rafn

Clinical Interests:

My clinical interests center on supporting a wide range of diverse clients through evidence-based, collaborative care. I work with individuals navigating concerns related to depression, anxiety, life transitions, and interpersonal challenges. I am also trained in working with LGBTQIA+ communities and am committed to providing an affirming, inclusive, and culturally responsive therapeutic space. My approach emphasizes empowerment, insight, and practical skill-building tailored to each client’s unique goals and lived experiences.

Clinical Approach:

My clinical approach is grounded in a client-centered and culturally responsive framework that values collaboration, authenticity, and empowerment. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, while providing practical strategies to manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and stress. I support individuals navigating life transitions and interpersonal challenges by fostering insight, enhancing communication skills, and strengthening resilience. My practice is affirming and inclusive and supports a deep commitment to honoring each client’s unique identity and lived experience. I strive to create a therapeutic environment where clients feel seen, respected, and supported as they work toward meaningful and sustainable change.

Hobbies:

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to read, watch movies, be outdoors, and cook/bake.
