More About Tami Langford

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy working with clients that have a variety of concerns such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and PTSD, just to name a few. I have a strong background working with adolescents and young adults. I have spent the last year working exclusively with individuals that have experienced a traumatic event due to a violent crime.

Clinical Approach:

I work with every client by starting where they are at. I believe that my clients are in charge of deciding what is most important to them and then we work together to reach their goals. When I work with children, I believe it is very important to have at least one parent involved to keep them updated on what strategies and skills we are working on so they can support their child. I use a combination of DBT skills building, mindfulness, body and mind connection, CBT, and EMDR during sessions.

Hobbies:

One of my favorite activities is going to see live theater. I enjoy spending time with my family and doing as many outdoor activities as possible. I like to be involved in community activities and volunteering my time while helping others.
