More About Alexandria Love

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy working with adolescents and adults navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use, addictive behaviors, relationship concerns, and life transitions. While my clinical background has centered on providing therapy to adults, I have a particular interest in helping individuals better understand themselves and move toward meaningful, lasting change. At Sagent Behavioral Health, I provide comprehensive psychological assessments for ADHD and diagnostic clarification while also offering individual, couples, and group therapy. I look forward to expanding my work with youth and continuing to grow my expertise in psychological assessment across the lifespan.

Clinical Approach:

I believe that meaningful change begins with a genuine, collaborative relationship built on trust, curiosity, and mutual respect. My goal is to create a space where clients feel comfortable being themselves while also feeling supported, challenged, and empowered throughout the process. I draw from evidence-based approaches—including cognitive behavioral, acceptance and commitment, mindfulness-based, motivational, and systems-oriented therapies—to tailor treatment to each individual’s unique needs rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all approach.

Understanding ourselves is often the first step toward meaningful change. Whether I’m conducting therapy or psychological assessment, I strive to help clients better understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and develop practical strategies that promote lasting growth. I view assessment not simply as a way to arrive at a diagnosis, but as an opportunity to provide clarity, insight, and recommendations that help clients move forward with confidence.

Hobbies:

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, young son, and our two cats. Much of my free time is spent cooking and baking, tackling DIY projects, and planning gatherings with family and friends. I also enjoy reading, exploring new interests, and finding creative outlets that allow me to keep learning and growing. When the opportunity arises, I like spending time outdoors and traveling, but I’m just as happy spending a quiet weekend at home with the people (and pets) I love most.
