More About Amanda Amani
Clinical Interests:
I have had the privilege of working with a wide range of people, from children and families to youth and adults in an inpatient setting. I am passionate about walking alongside those who have been through difficult or traumatic experiences, helping them find strength, healing, and hope for the future.
Clinical Approach:
I believe that people are the experts in their own lives and hold the wisdom needed to guide their healing. My role is to walk alongside my clients, offering tools, insights, and support as they navigate their unique journeys. I am committed to lifelong learning and approach therapy as a collaborative process, growing both for and with my clients. I draw from a combination of approaches—including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and psychoeducation—to help clients reach their goals. Above all, I strive to provide a safe, supportive space where every person feels heard, valued, and empowered.
Hobbies:
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and my daughter. We enjoy traveling together, visiting zoos and aquariums, and exploring all that the Eau Claire area has to offer. At home, my two huskies and two kitties keep life lively and full of joy.
