More About Emily Scholl

Clinical Interests:

Emily Scholl, tLMHC, is a therapist with a background as both an educator and a parent, bringing deep understanding and empathy to her work with clients. She specializes in working with teachers, children, parents, and any individual seeking a safe, nonjudgmental space to process life’s challenges. A former teacher and mom of children with ADHD, PANDAS, and Autism Spectrum diagnoses, Emily approaches therapy with both professional insight and lived experience.

Clinical Approach:

Emily’s counseling style is eclectic, holistic, and collaborative. She draws from DBT, Reality Therapy, and Person-Centered approaches, but more than anything, she offers a comfortable and welcoming environment where she meets you, authentically, exactly as you are, where you are.

Sessions with Emily often feel like a genuine conversation—warm, supportive, and sprinkled with slightly odd humor. She believes empathy, authenticity, and resiliency are the key to growth.

Emily works alongside clients to manage anxiety, depression, parenting stress, teacher burnout, and emotional regulation. Whether you’re a parent trying to hold it all together, a teacher feeling stretched thin, or a parent seeking support for your child, Emily provides a space where you can breathe, be honest, and feel understood.

Hobbies:

Outside of counseling, Emily enjoys spending time with her family, camping, reading, learning, hyper focusing on the interest of the week, and starting a crochet project she probably won’t finish.
