More About Jeannine Batchelder

Clinical Interests:

I have a variety of experiences and I am particularly passionate about working with anxiety disorders, depression, chronic illness, aging, life transitions, family and relationship challenges, and grief. I utilize my experience as an ARMHS practitioner to help identity potential community resources that may help you reach your goals. I enjoy working with adults of all ages but deeply connect with older individuals as they are navigating aging and life transitions. I work with individuals, couples, and families.

Clinical Approach:

I take an Adlerian approach, encouraging clients to have the courage to be imperfect. I also use a strengths based approach to help clients draw on their strengths to work through their challenges. If you choose to work with me in your therapeutic journey, I will allow you to choose the flow of your sessions to fit your individual needs in an empathetic, compassionate, and non -judgmental way. I am passionate about working along side you and to help guide you through life’s challenges, as well as to help you incorporate self care into your daily life. I will use humor and playfulness in my sessions when it is beneficial.

Hobbies:

I love spending time with family and friends, as well as my cat rescue cat Lexi. I enjoy reading, trying new restaurants, as well as attending plays and concerts. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places, with the goal of visiting each of the 50 states.
