Jessica Thomas is a board certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. She sees children, adolescents and adults for medication management. Areas of interest include adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, post-partum depression, ADHD, PTSD, caring for patients with cancer and other psychiatric care.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, Jessica’s mission is to ensure that every person in her care feels truly heard, valued, and understood. She believes that patients are essential members of their own healthcare team, with voices that matter and deserve to be respected. Jessica is committed to creating a welcoming, collaborative environment where each individual feels empowered to participate in decisions about their care. She works closely with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, goals, and preferences—because she believes the best care happens when it’s built together.

Hobbies:

Outside of work Jessica enjoys spending time with her husband and 3 children. She is active in the community as a youth basketball coach, cheering on her kids at all their activities, watching the Hawkeyes, traveling when she can, spending time with her amazing friends, and binge-watching tv shows as time allows.
