Laura is a Pre-Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor who is dedicated to supporting her clients by providing a welcoming space where each individual can feel heard and understood. She is mindful of how difficult it can be to take the step to seek out counseling and aims to make the process as comfortable as possible for her clients.
Laura’s background has consisted of providing individual therapy to clients of varying ages while implementing techniques from approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Self-Compassion focused Therapy, always working from a person-centered approach. Laura believes in tailoring sessions to best meet the needs of those seeking support and enjoys collaborating to help achieve desired goals set by the client.
In addition to work, Laura loves gallivanting through state parks with her dog and playing games or puzzling (particularly on cozy fall days)! She loves being surrounded by friends and family regardless of the activity.
