Clinical Interests:
LeAnne Rohlf is a doctorally prepared, dual-certified, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 20 years of experience in mental health, and 12 years with Sagent, providing outpatient psychiatric care to children and adolescents. Clinical interests include any and all complex child and adolescent psychiatric concerns.
Her doctoral quality improvement project focused on improving the safety of psychiatric medication use in adolescents through a structured approach to identifying polypharmacy and deprescribing opportunities. This work strengthened an area of passion: ensuring that every medication has a clear purpose and continuing to reassess whether it is still providing meaningful benefit.
Clinical Approach:
Psychiatry has been my passion for as long as I can remember. I began working in the mental health field at just 16 years old, and every step of my education and career has reaffirmed that this is exactly what I was meant to do.
I believe psychiatric care should be collaborative, practical, and individualized. As both a pediatric and psychiatric nurse practitioner, and as a mom, I understand that every child is unique.
My approach emphasizes relationships, education, shared decision-making, and thoughtful medication management. This includes simplifying medication regimens or deprescribing when appropriate. I value getting to know the whole person and family rather than focusing solely on a diagnosis. I also believe there is room for humor and authenticity in mental health care and strive to create an environment where children, adolescents, and their families feel comfortable asking questions and being themselves.
What existing patients would say about me: approachable, direct, collaborative, comfortable using humor, and genuinely enjoying working with families.
Hobbies:
Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband and daughters. I love jigsaw puzzles and regularly compete in puzzle competitions. I also enjoy art, creative projects, spending time outdoors, and hitting the ski slopes during the winter. I am naturally social, love a good challenge, and rarely turn down an opportunity for a little friendly competition.
