More About Madelyn Maday
Clinical Interests:
I have experience providing individual therapy to clients across the lifespan, from children to older adults. I work with individuals facing a wide range of mental health concerns, including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, ADHD, PTSD, identity development, social anxiety, autism, stress management, relationship challenges, self-esteem issues, and difficulties with emotion regulation.
Clinical Approach:
I value creating a safe, warm, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable being themselves. My approach is centered on meeting each client where they are and respecting their individual pace and process. I focus on building a strong, collaborative relationship, which I believe is essential for effective and meaningful therapeutic work. In our work together, I incorporate practical tools and interventions that can be applied both during and outside of sessions. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches based on each client’s unique needs and goals, while also considering the emotional, social, and environmental factors that shape their experience. My primary clinical orientations include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT).
Hobbies:
I enjoy photography, thrift shopping, and spending time outdoors, whether it’s at the lake, running, or hiking. I value quality time with friends and family and spend most of my free time with them.
