More About Molly Hirsch

Clinical Interests:

I enjoy working with children, teens, adults, and families experiencing anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and major life changes. I also work with individuals navigating ADHD, autism, emotional regulation difficulties, and self-esteem challenges. I am especially passionate about early childhood mental health, attachment, and strengthening parent-child relationships.

Clinical Approach:

I believe therapy works best when people feel safe, understood, and genuinely connected. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s strengths, needs, and goals. I strive to create a supportive environment where clients can build insight, develop new skills, and create meaningful change.

When working with children and families, I utilize developmentally appropriate interventions tailored to each child’s unique needs. My work is informed by training in Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), Circle of Security Parenting (COSP), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and DC:0–5, a developmental and relationship-based framework for understanding infant and early childhood mental health. I also incorporate Somatic Experiential Play Therapy, expressive arts, parent collaboration, and other play-based and attachment-focused approaches to support emotional growth and strengthen relationships.

With teens and adults, I take a collaborative and individualized approach that focuses on building insight, strengthening relationships, and helping clients move toward the life they want to create. I draw from evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), while tailoring treatment to each person’s unique experiences, goals, and strengths.

Hobbies:

Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I love being outside and staying active, whether that’s hiking, traveling, playing pickleball, or keeping up with our energetic dog, Ruthie. I also enjoy reading, attending concerts, and checking out local coffee shops.
